When I attempted to view it earlier, there's nothing I could view. This one now is also not a forum attachment.

Read this wiki for attaching, please.

Per your sleep study (which BTW is very thorough) you have what is considered mild sleep apnoea with an AHI of 14. The approach of doing a CPAP 5-day titration at home makes sense, basically allowing the machine to find the correct pressures for you.

We can dig into things further, but was there something specific in the study that concerned you?

My main concern was, do I need a CPAP. I don't wake up with a headache and I don't feel any fatigue through the day.

Will a life style change which I am already doing like regular workouts and eliminating alcohol and reducing my BMI eventually reverse my sleep apnea ?

Only you can decide whether you want to use a CPAP machine or take other medical steps to improve sleep quality and wakefulness.

Positive lifestyle changes may improve AHI. How much? No idea. It is different for everyone. Will it “cure” apnoea? I don’t know, but it may improve sleep quality enough to make a difference to you. Then again, it may not. If you did not sleep on your back you would reduce your AHI by about 50%, but it would still be in the mild apnoea category. That may be enough, but you would have to try it and see.

It comes down to is you believing you need assistance with getting better sleep and deciding to do something about it. You took the first step with your sleep test which shows you have sleep apnoea. Whether you treat it or not is your choice.

What we do know is using a properly configured CPAP machine improves sleep quality for many. The challenge is it takes a bit of time to find the correct settings, which requires patience and a desire to make it work.
