Which models of machine have APAP facility?
Hi,

i am trying to buy a sleep apnea machine second hand. It's kind of frustrating though because when I ask the people selling the machine if there machine has APAP mode they dont know what I mean... so, could someone give me a list of brands and models of sleep apnea machine that are APAP to help me the right kind of machine?? Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

Callum.

RE: Which models of machine have APAP facility?
I've only used ResMed machines, S9 AutoSet and AirSense 10 AutoSet
Phillips Respironcis System One Auto model number 560 (561 for Canada and Australia) is also popular machine

Here is a guide machines choices http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...ne_Choices

Since you're using S8 anz edition, I assume you're in Australia, if its the case and does not have a private insurance ... I would look into S9 AutoSet from Supplier #2 (US supplier, and popular among forum members especially Aussies)
Gently Used ResMed S9 AutoSet and Accessories .... US $479 [New ... $699]

Suppliers List http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...plier-List
For masks, cushions, hoses, etc ..., Supplier #10 is good source too

........... S9 AutoSet ......................................... ............. AirSense 10 AutoSet

........................................................................ [should say "AutoSet, AutoSet for Her, Elite or CPAP"]

It would be far better, if you combine all machines questions in one thread than posting multiples
