are these centrals or false alarms?

RE: are these centrals or false alarms?
To me most look to be false alarms aka arousals. The FOT is getting through, so not completely obstructed.
Given the clustering there is likely neck kinking going on. A soft cervical collar should help clear those up. You also should turn off ramp and raise your min pressure. Try the following: Min pressure 6 Max pressure 10 EPR 2 full-time No ramp The CA’s may be EPR related, but change one thing at a time. If you need to bump up your EPR to 3, then you need to raise your minimum pressure to 7.

RE: are these centrals or false alarms?
I've got the same question.
Been on APAP since the Fall of, 2020. My results, after the first month or so of experimenting and adjusting, have always been under 5. So I am pretty satisfied with the effects of the treatment. One thing that I am still trying to figure out is whether my CAs are real or false. I don't always have them, but when they do occur they are usually in bunches and occur between 3:30am and 5:00am. I'd like to know if they are real or not, and if they are, what I can do about them. A screenshot is attached. My APAP range is 9-14, EPR = 3, Ramp is off Thanks in advance!

@SingingWolf - please start a thread titled “SingingWolf Therapy Thread”. That way we can keep all your therapy suggestions in one place.

RE: are these centrals or false alarms?
I originally posted this on 01/28 in the Normal Threads and titled it "Real or False CAs". Didn't receive any responses, so tried it here.
