Constantly Rainout with Climateline all of a sudden, help?
Used to get rainout sporadically but then I changed to climate line years ago and it never happened. Now its happening every night. I just received my new suppliues, is it possible it is defective tubing? Or what else could be causing this all of a sudden?

I use a fleece SnuggleSkins cover on my Climateline tubing, and generally use the manual humidifier setting with 80*F and Setting 4. The tube should rise from the CPAP rather than sit flat. This causes any condensation or overflow from the humidifier to drain back. The fleece makes the tubing much more comfortable and is long enough to insulate the tube on my P10 nasal pillows, avoiding condensation at the mask.

Mine says auto when I use climateline. How do you set manually?

I also use the manual setting.
Go into the Clinicians menu, and change the humidity from auto to manual.

You'll probably have to experiment with the settings.

Sleeprider:

"SnuggleSkins cover on my Climateline tubing"

If you use a cover, does "auto" humidity no longer work? I'm hearing there is a sensor somewhere along the tubing. Thx!

Humidification works as expected with the cover. I don't use a lot of water except when humidity is very low like in the Winter. I have never used "auto" settings because they don't work as well as the manual setup regardless of cover. The most important reason to use one is comfort. No more hard tubing rubbing on your face or body, and quieter air delivery.

Very cool, thanks for the tips. Indoor humidity is dropping here already. Think I shall order one.
