Convert Airsense 11 into Air mini or vice versa?
We all know what the main problem with the resmed air mini is: (1) that it does provide data for Oscar!!!!
Some of the smaller problems are: (2) noise, (3) no real humidifier, and (4) need to use special masks (because of 3).
Now, since the Airsense 11 uses the same motor/turbine, couldn't we frankenstein the AS11 into an Air mini that can provide data to Oscar?
Could we take the brain of the AS11 and put it on the mini? Or 3D print an alternative container that converts the AS11 to close to Air Mini weight/size ?How much of the 11 can you cut away?
I think that possibly, by giving up on the noise issue of the mini, you could make a device of almost the same weight, that does not suffer from problems (1), (3), (4).
Of course, ResMed could do all this in an afternoon. But they don't wana.
