Try changing your Graphics rendering engine to Software. There are 2 easy ways to achieve this. One is to hold the Shift key while starting OSCAR. The second is while in OSCAR go to File ⇾ Preferences ⇾ General ⇾ Graphics Engine and select "Software Engine". The later will require a restart to take effect.

Not sure what is causing this, but you could try changing the graphics rendering engine. Try this: go to File/Preferences/General page. Set the graphics engine to the Software Engine. Does that help?
