Data Capable CPAPs

Hi all,

Been a while since I was on. My wife's treatment is under control and going well. My brother in law is headed towards an Apnea diagnosis and CPAP. I want to make sure that when he gets his machine that he gets one that is full data capable. The DME will most likely provide either a Resmed of Respironics model. Does anyone have the models for each of these that are NOT data capable? I believe that the Resmed S9 escape is not, but not sure if any others are not. With the Respironics I have not found a list but I know some are not. The original one that my wife had was not but I insisted that they swap it and I can not remember the model that it was.

Any Resmed machine with Escape in the name is not data capable machine
Phillips Respirncis system one (PRS1) model number 460 and above are data capable machines
[Plus models and numbers below 460 are not data capable machines]

The type of machine depends on the diagnosis
For garden-variety type ... CPAP is most recommended
I've only used S9 AutoSet, from looking at other machines functions and features, come to conclusion that the S9 AutoSet is the best option available ... mainly of the simple design and sleep report data display on the LCD including unintentional leak
S9 AutoSet/Elite is the only machine calculate unintentional leak and telling you the acceptable leak number
knowing leak data and mask fit at a glance is essential
