Philips DreamStation - Modo seguro (safe mode)

Philips DreamStation - Modo seguro (safe mode)
Hola a todos!/ Hello,

So first post for me, happy to be part of this community and greetings from Spain! I own a Philips Respironics (2018) and right now its stuck on safe mode (maintnance required it shows). Wonder if anyone had made it out of this mode, (hard reset or any other option) as for maintenance I'll have to send it to Germany or Poland, and budget is almost similar to a new one. Oh-jeez

Gracias! / Thanks a lot

It may help to fully disconnect power, then restart. If that does not work, try a factory reset. The Reset Data function is used to clear patient data from the therapy device, as well as an SD card and modem (if installed). After you click to execute Reset Data, the device will display a message asking you to confirm the reset. Backup data first.

RE: Philips DreamStation - Modo seguro (safe mode)
Thanks for the reply Sleeprider,

Problem is that I cant move through any setting as it is stuck in the maintenance mode (shown on the link below). Tried to unplug/plug but several times but instantly jump to the same screen.

If disconnecting power did not work, I don't know of a good solution. Given the choice of repair or replacement, I would get a Resmed Autoset from Supplier #2. SecondWindCPAP has very low prices on new and lightly used machines and ships internationally at reasonable prices. I think they can meet your needs for a lower price than other alternatives. I'm serious that Resmed is the much better and more comfortable machine, and Philips has discontinued the Dreamstation 1 and uses encryption so we cannot access the data on the Dreamstation 2.
