I finally received my replacement dream station 1 device after over 2 years. I just plugged it in and noticed none of the menu titles are there anymore. All I have are images. Names on the bottom of the screen like home, therapy, etc. were listed on my old machine below the image. They are not there anymore. It makes adjusting settings very difficult. My provider could not figure out why that is the case. Everything else works fine. I am hoping there is a way to get the names listed again. I hope this makes sense.
I have tried restarting and taking out SIM card and modem. Nothing has worked. I still have no menu titles showing. Very bizarre. Any ideas would be welcomed!! Thanks!

Here’s an example of what my returned DS1 showing the names looked like. It would show all the menu names at the bottom - I. E. My Info. As you turn the dial to change menu item, the name of the setting is at the bottom so you know exactly what setting you are in. On my new DS1 My Info isn’t there. It’s blank. As I turn the dial, None of the names are showing, all I see is the icon. I hope this helps? I’ve never heard of this before - I hope something was just turned off accidentally.
I've never seen anything like that. Just checking the manual for the DS1 shows the labels. I agree, it would make it difficult to use. You shouldn't have to accept that!
Try to unplug the machine again, and follow the above directions (sequence) when turning back on.
Since this is a replacement machine, and if the above doesn't work, I would contact
Phillips and ask for another replacement. Maybe you'll get lucky and receive a DS2.
