DreamStation Go Recall [consolidated replacement & compensation info & questions]

RE: DreamStation Go Users | Anyone receive a replacement or repaired unit?
So, for those of us "taking the money and running" from our DSGo, what travel auto-CPAP should we get? Just use the A10 as a travel unit? I tried an AirMini and returned it (loud, didn't like the disposable humidifiers). Transcend units look flimsy (esp the micro unit). Help!

PHXSleeper, all valid points, but I decided to go with the DS2 for a few reasons: it’s quieter than the Go (which bothers my wife when we travel), and I like the physical off button rather than trying to find the touch off button on the Go when I get up during the night. I actually like the DS2, I have one as my main machine. One thing I noticed on the DS2 humidifier is it will not keep pockets of water when it runs dry like the Go’s humidifier, and is much easier to open. The footprint of the DS2 is not that much larger than the Go’s, but the slightly larger size, the power block, and the loss of the usb charger are the only downsides.

Got the same offer and will take the $500 and run. My Resmed AirMini is loud but between its better algorithm and lack of black specks coming from its output, I’ll definitely sleep better.

Received the DSG update about an hour ago.  Wasted no time and elected the financial settlement.  I wish Philips was more forthcoming about manufacturing date, mine is March 2018 Rev 1.

Has anyone received the QR code email from FedEx yet?  I filled out the RMA form but no QR code with the shipping label yet.

No QR code after 6 hours. I went back to the site and chose the other option (self-pack with printed label for FedEx option), and got a mailing label. Just want to get it to them and get my $$

Just a note that by selecting “auto adjusting device option” doesn’t necessarily guarantee a DS2. My recalled DS1 was replaced by a new DS1 after selecting that option. I just received the email concerning my DS Go options and will likely take the cash option. Bought my DS Go in 2020 shortly before the recall and am miffed that we had to wait this long for a cash option. In addition, even if I get the full $500, I will be out considerably more for a device I barely used. I bought an AirMini to replace the Go some time ago and I find that for me it is a better fit as I suffer from flow limitations that the Philips algorithm doesn’t address. I also replaced my DS1 with a Resmed Aircurve 10 VAuto. I used the replacement DS1 I received a few months ago for one night to make sure there were no issues and then put it on the shelf as a backup.

To add to the size check:

Transcend Micro versus DS Go and A10.

I am VERY happy with my Micro. While it's a bit noisy I also don't have a bed partner, and when I travel I'm often in the living room surrounded by animals crashed on an airbed. I'm not using the humidification right now with it, nor the muffler, and just running into my Dreamwear or my Sleepweaver in my travel kit. Yes, the plastics don't feel as great as a Philips or ResMed unit but it's holding up on my adventures, and doubly so with my travel setup including an unofficial USB-C PD trigger cable I acquired.

It's worth it if it's on sale for sure (they had a sale that knocked it to $670 direct from them at the time of purchase for me).
meow, I'm a bobcat.

Also didn’t get the QR code. Between the DS foam-gate and my two Philips Sonicare toothbrushes that prematurely died, I’ll chalk this up as another corporate fail.

RE: DreamStation Go Users [consolidated replacement & compensation info & questions]
I've renamed this thread:

"DreamStation Go Users [consolidated replacement & compensation info & questions]"

In order to further organize posts and not have several duplicate threads about the Philips DreamStation Go recall, let's try to keep all the DreamStation Go recall information and questions in this thread.

Information and questions regarding the other Philips machines under recall (not the DreamStation Go units) should generally be posted in this thread:
https://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread...-ONE-USERS

New threads concerning the DreamStation Go recall may be closed or possibly merged into this thread by a Moderator.

Thanks
