Dreamstation 1 APAP Function Not Working?
My refurbished Dreamstation 1 APAP function not working? The refurbished machine sent back to me by Philips does not seem to be regulating the air pressure. When turned on to APAP and set on a range of 10 - 17 psi it only stays at 10 psi or whatever the low psi setting is and does not regulate. Never had an issue with my other Dreamstation 1 machine and think I have everything set up correctly.
Any suggestions?

It would not raise in pressure unless you are having events... I would suggest you use oscar (free download at the top of the site) and post a daily view of a normal night for you. Someone here that is experienced with your machine will be able to help.
Apnea (80-100%) 10 seconds, Hypopnea (50-80%) 10 seconds, Flow Limits (0-50%) not timed Cervical Collar - Dealing w DME - Chart Organizing

RE: Dreamstation 1 APAP Function Not Working?
I am actually having a similar issue with my refurbished Dreamstation 1 and I have been wondering if I'm just interpreting the charts wrong or if there is an issue with the machine.
I have an event, the pressure spikes for about 30s (looks like literal triangles on the Oscar chart) and then the machine immediately goes back down to the minimum setting. Then I have another event a minute later and the pressure spikes and then quickly goes back down to minimum, etc etc. I hope someone with more experience reading the Oscar charts can help us make heads or tails of this.

RE: Dreamstation 1 APAP Function Not Working?
I called my DME but they're useless now that they get their money from Medicare. I don't have any problem with my Airsense 10 on APAP. I think I'll try the Dreamstation on fixed pressure for a night....I only use it for when I travel so I haven't experimented much. Wonder if there is a Philips tech support?
