RE: Air Sense 11 SD Card Issues
ResMed 11 user here. Have you found installing and using OSCAR creates problem with your MyAir app? I want OSCAR but I really don't want to  lose MyAir and all its data and history,

Hi airboss27! - Welcome
The data written tn the SD card and used by OSCAR is separate from the data transferred wirelessly to the MyAir app. The SD card's data is much more detailed.

As far as you know do all the A11's have a SD card slot? And if I want to connect to a 12-volt battery do the A10 and A11 use different adapters?

All Air 11's have SD card slots.

Air 11 and Air 10 use different DC-DC converters because the power connector has changed.

Thanks. My AirCurve 10 reports every morning that the blower motor has exceeded its expected lifetime. Still works fine, though, and I have a S9 as a back up if needed.

But ... I'd still like to get a new machine. I'm eligible. I think I'll ask for the same machine I have now, but I would like it to be 4G capable. The one I have now is 3G. Can't send data to myAir. Can't send compliance data to my sleep doc. If I can get another A10, I'll buy the DC-DC converter. That way I'll have it for both machines.

Plus, in another thread Red reports that he favors the A10. That's good enough for me. Smile

RE: Air Sense 11 SD Card Issues
The air11 only comes in the autoset -- the only way to get a higher level machine like a vauto, asv, etc. is the 10 platform.

Under more normal circumstances maybe the aircurve 11 might be out by now, but it's been a total s***show of the last year of PR recall & chip shortages & supply chain issues. So who knows when you will be able to get a vauto11?

(Last fall ResMed was shipping vauto 10s with the black air10 plastic shells. Everybody freaked at first thinking that these were some sort of counterfeits. It turned out that ResMed had the leftover black shells when they stopped making airsense 10s and shifted their manufacturing to airsense 11s, and then they ran out of the light grey aircurve shells so they punted and used what they had. It looks to me like ResMed has really stepped up to do what they can under pretty adverse circumstances. I give them credit for that!)

RE: Air Sense 11 SD Card Issues
When placing the order with my sleep doc for my new VAUTO how do I specify that I want cell phone connectivity. My current VAUTO has the following ... IC: 9103A-AIR10CDMA.

My understanding is that the CDMA at the end of that sequence signifies that this machine has a 3G cell modem. It will no longer communicate with myAir or with my sleep doc. Do I just specify that I want 4G connectivity?

It is my understanding that Resmed is having difficulty getting the modem chipset. They are now advertising a "Card to Cloud" model. This is their way of saying that, in order to get your data to the cloud, you will need to use an SD card and do it yourself.

The FCC ID will end in AIR104G ( or maybe G4) if it has a 4G modem.

I'm not sure what the Card-to-OSCAR machines will have for an FCC ID.

I did a little more digging. The on-screen menu reports my internal modem type as CDMA.

What do you mean by card-to-OSCAR machines? Don't they all have a SD card that you just insert into your computer for OSCAR?
