[Equipment] Airsense 10 Noise

Airsense 10 Noise
Hi all,
I have an Resmed Airsense 10 which has had the motor replaced and computer board in the past 6 months. I have found that the noise level coming from the machine is very loud on the inhale. I have no increase mask leaks and have replaced the hose, filter, humidifier and used a different mask and the machine is still really loud.

Has anyone found any tips or tricks to help besides putting it in a bed side draw? Am I missing something?

Thank you for your help.

RE: Airsense 10 Noise
The Resmed Airsense/Aircurve 10 machines are very quiet and should not make any noises, (hums, groans or hums), but when that happens it usually means the motor has a bad bearing. Motors cost about $100 to replace DIY or $200 from Supplier #28 including reconditioning, calibration and resetting hours. A new machine is available for $399 from many online sources.

I keep my machine in a bedside drawer with a 2-inch diameter hole cut in the back of the cabinet for tubing and power. It makes a quiet machine silent and puts it out of sight. My best guess is the replacement motor you got is a bad one, or not installed correctly.

Thanks, the motor has actually been replaced twice in the past 6 months (after the 1st I complained about it being too loud and they replaced it again)
