[Equipment] Chin Strap Question

A question for fellow CPAP users re the use of Chinstraps.

Have been waking up with a very dry mouth even though I have upped the setting on my humidifier so I purchased a Chinstrap today as there seems to be a fair bit of evidence on this site that this could help. My question is does the Chinstrap go under or over the strap from my Pilairo mask?? I. E. do I put the mask on first or the Chinstrap.

Makes no difference, the purpose is to keeps mouth closed and minimize mouth leaks
I wear mine over while others might prefer under, there are no hard and fast rules

If your chinstrap is of the single strap variety as is the CareFusion PureSom that I'm using, putting it on before you put on the mask is better. The mask harness will help prevent the chinstrap from slipping fore and aft as you toss and turn.
