The S9 elite is a fixed pressure machine. If you need a machine that adjusts the pressure to your needs it is not a good choice.

How many run time hours? It could very easily be at the end of its service life.

The "Machine Choices" wiki article is excellent and has everything you need to know to get started shopping. As it mentions, the Elite model (both S9 and Airsense 10 with that suffix) logs full data but doesn't do APAP, so it has only one out of two of the most important features.
