[Equipment] OSCAR and ResMed oximeter data import
#1
Question
OSCAR and ResMed oximeter data import
Using bilevel CPAP since 2014 but with mixed results and palpitations.  After some research and thanks to forum and OSCAR, in March I discovered that I have Cheyne-Stokes and AHI 20-40. Switched to ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV in April and AHI dropped to 1-2 but still having daytime fatigue but less palpitations.  ResMed oximetry module 37004 is backordered, but while I'm waiting for delivery I'd like to be prepared to use it right away.  Question: Does the oximetry/pulse data collected by the adaptor during use become stored automatically on the SD card and does it get automatically imported into OSCAR along with the usual data and become included along with the other data graphs, or do you have to import it separately into OSCAR or another software?

Also, should I be using ASV Auto or ASV mode on the device?  Pros and cons?  I think I know my required settings based on the reports.  I don't have a sleep doctor.

RE: OSCAR and ResMed oximeter data import
I can answer your oximeter question. Yes, the oximeter data is collected and reported along with the other data from your ASV. You don't have to preform any additional steps.

RE: OSCAR and ResMed oximeter data import
Are you referring to the adapter (Oximetry Module from ResMed connects your Xpod Oximeter to your CPAP machine) or the entire kit with the Nonin XPOD 3012LP oximeter and cables?

My data is fully integrated in both ResScan and Oscar.

You might want to read the oximetry section in https://www.apneaboard.com/ResScan_Inter...-Guide.pdf.
