Service Required 062218-03155
Had a power outage this morning just before I woke up, and now my DreamStation says "Service Required 062218-03155" and I can do nothing--unplugging and replugging doesn't change the message, and I cannot use the button to scroll to anything. Help! I need to sleep tonight. Is there a work around? What does the error code mean?

RE: Service Required 062218-03155
Your error is fatal, and the bad news is you will miss a night of therapy. All E-06 errors require replacement of the main-board http://www.apneaboard.com/file_links121/...Ver.18.pdf Best guess is you had a power surge.
It is also an opportunity. Ask for a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset as a replacement. It's a better machine. Eitherser way, you need to contact your supplier for replacement, and if iyou did not get the machine through insurance, it's possible you are covered by homeowners insurance for the electric surge.

RE: Service Required 062218-03155
My Dreamstation just did the same thing, and it is the second one to do it. It is NOT a power surge - my machine has its own UPS unit that also protects against surges, and we have had no other power phenomenon. Maybe it is coincidence, but this one lasted exactly 2 months past the end of the two year warranty period.
So I am done, I am ordering a Resmed V10. - Bill |
