airsense 10 autoset for her question
I saw this statement in the manual. It says it treats apneas up to 12cm H2O. What happens after that? Does it switch to the standard algorithm instead of the for her? "Treats apneas up to 12 cm H2O and continues to respond to flow limitation and snore up to
20 cm H2O" Thanks, car54

RE: airsense 10 autoset for her question
No it means the machine won't raise the pressure any higher than 12cm in response to a OA event. However it will raise the pressure all the way up to 20cm in response to flow limitations and snores. So if you require pressures over 12cm to reduce OA's than you should use the standard algorithm. Normally if you require a steady pressure of 15cm or more they prescribe a BIPAP or VAUTO.

Interesting, why do you think that is?

Here's an older Thread where they talk about it. Enjoy. http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...ithm-fAPAP
