I would hope they had an obligation to set it to the prescribed pressure. Perhaps you can ask the doctor. My set pressure was 7-14, for example.

If you find it beneficial to exhale towards a lower pressure, then try it. I've tried various settings and the other day I just turned it off. Each person is different.
And Smart Start. That's an interesting and helpful gimmick.
Put your mask on and start breathing into it. This starts up your machine. Take your mask off and the CPAP shuts off after a few seconds. I find it really helpful instead of reaching half awake for the power button. :grin:
