Fitlife mask discontinued?

My DME says they can no longer get the Philips Respironics FitLife mask. Has anyone experienced this or heard of the mask being discontinued?

I can’t say if it’s been discontinued, but the FitLife Total Face Mask is still being sold. Check the Supplier list at top of page.

Sometimes DME's will set up policies, such as deciding to not make a specific item available or imposing some restriction. The employees that work for the DME may not even be aware that it's a restriction imposed by their employer and not by the patient's insurance coverage. They are just telling you what their boss said to tell you.

FULL-FACE?

Just picked one up today from my DME!  Evidently they haven't had them long -- sure hope they aren't discontinued since I just purchased it.  I was searching the board to see how well they were liked (or not)!

Four years later, it appears to be happening again.
 My DME just told me the Respironics FitLife (which I have used for a number of years) has been discontinued by the mfgr. I plan to call Respironics tomorrow because I strongly suspect that report is incorrect. 
If the FitLife has not been discontinued, I'm thinking I need to contact my sleep doc and switch DMEs to one that continues to carry the FitLife. Would that be my best option?

It seems to be offered on some online sites, but that's no guarantee it won't be discontinued in the future. You never know what Respironics might do.

I suspect your DME just doesn't want to be bothered. You probably need to contact your insurance for a list of DME's that are on their Provider's list, and start making phone calls.
