RE: GurdBonk Starting
I suggested an increase to min epap 6 after your first night but happy for you to follow The other suggestion of min epap 5 your second night looks better than the first good going.
RE: GurdBonk Starting
Life still rocking for me because of this board. I am slowly but surely getting used to my equipment, wish I had started a decade ago. Thanks again, so much, to all of you that have helped. I have left my ASV machine settings untouched, but later next week I will consider bumping my epap min a bit.
I had one bad night of leaks, not sure what happened, do y'all occasionally have a bad leak night? The new Cardiologist/sleep study guy I saw last week seemed amazed, like how did I go from a really poor result titration sleep study from the other place to 3 fantastic nights on a ASV machine... where did it come from.... where did I get the settings.... And he said, based on my Oscar reports, "WOW, you are doing great on that machine, don't change and thing and there is no need for further sleep studies. Now you should do two things, stay on the machine and lose some weight" ;o)

It's time to start documenting these physician comments on your efficacy with ASV. Eventually you will be asking that your prescription be changed to ASV at the settings you have determined effective. This will clear the way for future insurance coverage and of course ensure your medical team is onboard with what actually works. I could really care less if you ever see another sleep specialist again, but it would be nice to wave this under his incompetent nose.
