Thank you all for your exellent input. During my sleep study the best AHI recorded was 3.2 so data will definately be in my best interest to lower that number. The S9 it is.

Actually, 3.2 is darn good. Your goal is anything less than 5. So, really, your best interest is to KEEP it that low. And you can't know how you are (or are not) doing without the data.

How many docs tell us to get blood pressure monitors for our home so we can keep up with our blood pressure?

How many docs tell us to get our own glucose meters so we can keep up with that?

Yet it is so dang difficult to "justify" a CPAP to do the same thing!

I'm REALLY looking forward to getting this(any) machine. I have to admit even though I did a split night study, it was one of the best nights sleep I had in years. I just wish the local hospital could have/would have done one the two days prior while I was there in the cardiac unit....

The S9 it is.

I am very happy with the S9 Autoset. Being able to analyze the data and also having the ability to use the CPAP or the APAP mode is awesome. I doubt you would regret choosing the S9.
