Newbie
I am so glad I found this site. I need all the help I can get. My doctor put me on a range of 6-14, and that seems like a really wide range. Today I took a nap for 45 min and my AHI was 3.5.

RE: Newbie
Welcome Pinklady, left it at 6 - 14 for a while you need a few weeks of consistent data before you can make any decisions on changing pressures, then you should only adjust them slightly and leave them to get correct measurements. I would actually be leaving it for months at the start unless something goes drastically wrong which it more than likely won't. 3.5 is a good start for a newbie, you have to compare that figure versus your first sleep study. It means you are only stopping breathing 3 times per hour vs whatever your number was on you sleep study, also fir 45 mins your not even getting through your stages of sleep, have a look at the numbers after a full nights sleep, Keep at it and good luck.

RE: Newbie
Welcome to the board! 6-14 isn't that wide. I would definitely give it a bit of time before adjusting anything. Best of luck with your therapy!
