Just recently started using CPA, I have taken 2 different home sleep studies. First one using Wesper (17 AHI) and another using Watch Pap One (AHI 5.8). The current pressure settings are 7-15. I am using a Resmed 10 with an N20 nasal mask. The setting the sleep doc prescribed was 4-20. I wasn't able to tolerate that, I got immediately a headache using that pressure and could only do one night 1 hour awake and 1 a sleep.
Things look great thanks to the changes you made. Good for you! It would be helpful if you could fix your Oscar Chart a bit so that we can better help you. Remove the calendar completely. This will allow more valuable information to show on the left bar.
How are you feeling? This is an important part of your therapy. Let us know.
I have updated the Oscar pictures. I have a bit hard time falling asleep; I have been able to achieve at least 5 hours of sleep using the CPAP machine but mainly the days that I am really tired. I wake up a lot, randomly after 5:30 am. In general, still feeling really tired, get often headaches, a lot of brain fog and my TMJ somehow is hurting again; which had improved after using the MAD which I stopped using when I started on CAP this month. So no improvement, yet I have only successfully used it for 7 days (not continuous) since I had to change the mask.
I am not fully sure if I have got the pressure setting which best suit me.
Your results look very good, but even with a low AHI, we sometimes find ourselves not feeling the benefit.
Do you monitor your oxygen levels while you sleep? It might be a good idea to purchase an overnight recording oximeter.
With such low AHI numbers, I hesitate to suggest pressure changes, but small adjustments may help with comfort and sleeping better.
Set your minimum pressure to 8.6, leave the maximum setting as is.
Also, raise the EPR from 2 to 3. This will insure that your EPAP doesn't fall below where it is now and cause Obstructives. It's the EPAP that sprints the airway open.
I'd also like to see you wean off using ramp. For now, move the ramp setting from 4 to 6 for 15-20 minutes.

RE: Help Analyzing Pressure Settings
Hello,
I have attached 3 more days of data after making the changes suggested. I need help understanding what the EPR is, that one I haven't changed anything. I think I felt better when the pressure was at 7. The issue is still when I suddenly wake up at 1:43am (05/31/2024) and it's too difficult to fall back as sleep with the mask after I wake up and end up taking the mask off for the rest of the night. I read somewhere else that you should check the pressure at the moment you wake up, but don't know how to do that.
Still feeling the same, tired as usual but seems I am sleeping less than 6 hours I definitely need to increase the number of hours so I can start feeling better. Thank you !
Hi, I just replied to your comments. Please when you have a chance check what other changes I am able to make! Thank you

You posted a 0.00ahi night but for only 4 hours, even though that's very good that isn't enough sleep. So you are taking your mask off and not putting it back on afterwards even though the therapy seems to be working? How many hours are you sleeping without the mask on after taking it off?
I'm an advocate of fixed pressure, so my suggestion is to set the machine to CPAP mode @ 8.5cm (just under your 99.5% pressure) with EPR set to 2 fulltime for two nights and see if that allows you more sleep with the same good results we're seeing in this thread.
