Help analyzing OSCAR - Sent by beerdujour

RE: Help analyzing OSCAR - Sent by beerdujour
Great. I will try it tonight and update this thread with some new graphs tomorrow. Will also include if I feel any better. Maybe then it'll be possible/easier to note RERAs. One more question. Is it looking like I'll need a Bilevel? I know it may seem like a stretch to ask right now but that's what I'm trying to avoid ($$).

With the AutoSet and EPR, it's actually a bilevel, although limited to an equivalent of PS of 3 cmH2O. EPR operates backwards to a bilevel PS, but it is effectively the same regarding therapy. If you find you're in need of more PS than 3, then that would require the bilevel such as the ResMed VAuto.

How would I know if I need more than 3cmH2O EPR? By looking at which chart?

Thanks SR, That's more or less what I was thinking but I didn't want to be the only one providing input on Reddit

Updated OSCAR results with EPR = 3 full time and APAP pressure of 9cm-14cm.
I will note that I woke up at 4am (to use the restroom), and could not go back to sleep. 6am is the time my alarm wakes me up. So rather than truly sleep 7hr35m it was probably around 5hr35. So you can ignore the last hour or two of the data, I was awake. Just like everyday, my eyes are burning. Going to use eyedrops to try to relieve this today.
PS I screenshotted 2 of the non-flagged spikes. What do yall think? Anything sketchy (RERAs) or are they just spontaneous arousals such as me moving around? I am noticing that my flow limitation and snore went down. I see I'm still having flagged events such as OA and Hypopnea. Should I up my pressure? What are my next steps? Should I change anything or keep at this for some time? Thank you family... https://imgur.com/a/tBS2ZxX

SpaceOdessey, the results look much improved. I will recommend you minimize that monthly calendar so more data shows up. Anyway, events are lower, the snores are mostly gone, from the appearance of the flow rate charts, your respiration looks improved and the anomalies in expiration are gone. Neither of the arousals have antecedent respiratory anomalies, so those appear to be spontaneous. I like that the median pressure is less than 0.5 greater than the minimum pressure and you did not encroach on the maximum set pressure. This looks good and I would not suggest any changes at this point. I don't see a need for bilevel beyond the 3 cm of EPR.

Sleeprider, thanks. You've been a great help! I guess I am just paranoid about RERAs as they've become pretty popular on Reddit. But reading your feedback that my data looks good is a relief! I'm going to give it time.. having this forum helps a lot.
