Help with CPAP tuning for a noob

Help with CPAP tuning for a noob
Hello Everyone!

I have just used an APAP for the second time in my life, last night.
The morning after the first night left me feeling truly amazing, but had a much worse sleep last night - although much improved from my baseline.

Was hoping for any advice or observations anyone might have.

Screenshots from OSCAR attached.

About me:
- 45 year old man, who has likely had apnea for many years.
- Currently overweight but losing weight on a low carb diet.
- A smoker who is attempting to quit for the nth time.
- Bearded

Diagnosis
- Diagnosed by an at home sleep study via a sleep specialist as severe sleep apnea
- ~60 Apnea / H
- Low blood oxygenation for sustained periods during REM sleep (falling to 50%)

Equipment
- AirSense11 AutoSet set to everything auto I believe
- Fisher and Paykel solo nasal mask

Sleeping situation
- Two pillows
- Generally a side sleeper
- Usually a mouth breather according to my wife

RE: Help with CPAP tuning for a noob
Welcome to the forum.

I would set you minimum pressure to 7cm and your max to 15cm.  Set your EPR to 2 or 3.   While the ramp is turned on you do not have any treatment, so if you do not really need it turn it off.  Try this for 2-3 nights then post some more charts.
