I often wonder if the engineers who design the masks have actually tried to sleep with them.  There should be way more sizes, at a minimum.  Eyeglass frames, for example, come in so many shapes and sizes.  A lot of that is fashion, but the shapes and sizes of people's faces, noses, and heads varies so much.  As it is we have to try different types of masks and different brands of the same type until we find one that happens to fit OK.

Exactly. My cat thinks it's a dog. Follows me everywhere and walks on a leash.  https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=...000&type=3

the mask marketing department won. Engineering department?  Pft we don't need no stinking intelligent & thoughtful engineering. Give us stuff with flowers or manly names and call it good.

RE: These darn masks
My two cents about the ResMed P30i and N3i. They are good masks except for the strap which is located too high on the back of the head and slides up during the night. I switched the headgear to the DreamWear headgear with arms that fit the P/N30i perfectly and solved the problem. Amazon sells them for as low as $9 bucks. I tested at 72 events per hour, now thanks to ResmMed, OSCAR, and this board my events are 1.0> and sometimes 0.0 with leakage in the low teens. I also use a cheap chin strap from Amazon and "Burt's Bees" lip balm sparingly on my nostrils. Hope this helps.

Another thing I have found useful for irritation around my nose is MEDIHONEY Gel.  It's marketed as a wound and burn dressing.

I apply the tiniest amount with a Q-tip to any area with broken skin, preferably at the first sign of broken skin.  In addition to attaining more rapid healing that way, this stuff is expensive and you would not want to be spreading a lot of it over large areas.  I haven't had it that long and have only used it a couple of times, but it seems to have worked where other ointments have failed.

I say "seems" because I did try other things first and can't exclude the time factor.  Next time I have a skin problem, I'll try MEDICHONEY Gel first.

RE: These darn masks
I use a Resmed  p10 mask for the last 10 years and enjoy it a lot. Its not a perfect mask but no other masks are has been my findings when I first started APAP 15+ years ago.
Your pressures are low with excellent  results that are  perfect of the Resmed p10 mask, a few mask leaks happen with a lot masks. The best thing I can suggest is head pillow being a smaller footprint so less chance of bumping mask while sleeping + a thinner pillow works the best for myself for better breathing neck position posture.
You can take your favorite pillow and make a less of a foot print to reduce bumping when sleeping that moves the mask by changing how it lays(end to end) when sleeping or use a children's pillow for less a foot-print on bed. Might be cheaper than searching for another mask.
Photo(click to enlarge) shows how I use my pillow when I get leaks usually when p10 head gear is getting weak and needs to be heated in hot water and shrunk close to original length again(air dry wet or damp strap is recommended). I use a photo to show what I suggest and is inexpensive and might not be as comfortable possibly for some folks.
