RE: Help with pressures airsence 10
You are having a good-sized positional apnea problem. Positional in that you are likely tucking your chin. NO amount of pressure in any form will fix this.
Look at your pillow situation, use 1 vs 2 pillows, think flatter/ less firm, maybe a buckwheat pillow. Many address this issue with a soft cervical collar, see the link in my signature. The bottom line is that when you get and keep your neck straightened for the night those clusters of obstructive events will disappear.

RE: Help with pressures airsence 10
The characteristic flag of what we call positional apnea or chin-tucking is the clustering of obstructive events. Read these wiki articles and you will see we deal with this all the time. It is one of the most common problems we encounter, and we have even worked with a member that was on a full Trilogy ventilator that was able to resolve his apnea with a soft cervical collar and tested free of sleep disordered breathing! Read these two wiki articles and we will pick this up and solve the problem.

Hi wr61,
On March 10, your large leaks are corresponding almost exactly to the obstructive apneas. It's as if your small pillow was pushing your FFM away from your face as your chin dropped in positional apnea. Hopefully the soft collar will provide better results.
RE: Help with pressures airsence 10
This morning first night soft collar results. Anything else I can do about these centrals. I went from 28 to 30 mins in apnea down to 4 min! All feedback welcome , Thank You! I was ready to go back to the Trilogy 100. lol attachment=40664]

Great improvement with the collar.
Lowering the EPR "may" clean up some clear airways events. But... know that by lowering EPR, you may find that the Flow Limitations will increase. I wouldn't make a major change, but try EPR 2 and see how it looks.
