Vauto PRESSURES

Hey everyone, this is my first post on this forum. I’ve been struggling for almost two years now and am feeling extremely depressed and even suicidal. Any help would be a godsend to me. For context, I am a 22-year-old male with a mild AHI of 8.1, but I understand that AHI doesn’t tell the full story. I’ve been using a CPAP and have also tried BiPAP, but I’ve struggled to find the right settings. My CPAP is set to pressures of 10–14 cm H₂O with an EPR of 3.

In OSCAR, the data is showing that I’m using a VAuto, but I’m actually using an AirSense 10. This might be because I’ve used the same SD card for both machines. As you can see in the attached PDF, my flow rate looks terrible, even though the flow limitation graph appears fine. I’m using a nasal mask with mouth tape, but I can only keep the mask on for about four hours before waking up with anxiety and being unable to fall asleep again.

Please let me know how I can improve my flow rate and make my therapy as effective as possible. Any guidance or suggestions would mean the world to me.

RE: CPAP PRESSURES
Welcome to the forum...

Could you please remove the calendar and show the whole night rather than just an enlarged section of The OSCAR chart.

Once you re-post with the changes either I or someone else should be able to help you.

RE: CPAP PRESSURES
We still need the left side of the OSCAR chart with all of the written information...just remove the calendar and leave the rest.

RE: CPAP PRESSURES
The calendar is hiding some important info. Yes it would be helpful to include.

In OSCAR use the F12 screenshot button.
Mask Primer

Positional Apnea

Attach OSCAR, etc.

RE: CPAP PRESSURES
Your flow limits are actually higher than they should be, although EPR is what can help flow limits and it is already set to the maximum.   With the fairly high pressures you are currently running I would guess that you might be having nasal constrictions of some sort.   I am going to defer any settings or recommendations to someone on the board that is more knowledgeable than I am.  I am sure some one will be along that will be able to help you.

RE: CPAP PRESSURES
With the higher pressures needed, you'd be better off on bilevel like the ResMed AirCurve VAuto, or Indian equivalent.

RE: CPAP PRESSURES
I have the vauto bipap as well
What settings do you suggest.
And what about the trigger and cycle option and ti min and ti max. Please guide me through. If possible any videos which can make me understand better about flow limitations
