First, the only people that know the i.d. of the machine is tied to you is whoever is on the other end. So unless someone hijacks that computer and gets the patient data which includes the correlating machine-to-patient number coding, then sits and waits and grabs your data as it flies through the cellular data waves, your data is fairly safe.
Other than that, there is no other information on the machine that identifies you. You don't enter anything into it other than time (on some machines) and the type of mask/hose.
