Using a starting minimum of 9 plus the PS of 3 = an IPAP of 12, and if you use a PS of 4 would yield an IPAP of 13. Using your setting of 9-13 PS 4 would give you a static pressure setup.

Ok I understand ! Thanks

So on the Aircurve 10 I will use EPAP 9 IPAP 13 with PS 3 or 4 for example ?
On the Vauto, the settings to mimic the CPAP with EPR will be:
Mode Vauto
EPAP min: 6.0 (9.0 minimum pressure -3 EPR)
IPAP max: 13.0 (max pressure 13-3 EPR)
PS: 3
The above settings result in a range of 9/6 to 13/10 with PS 3. In your case I will open it up and suggest EPAP min 6.0, PS 4, Max IPAP 14, and if central apnea arises, set trigger sensitivity to high or very-high. The result is 10/6 to 14/10 with PS 4.

Thanks for your help.
I will keep you in touch when I will test it.

Hello there
I've just received my Resmed 10 Vauto but I don't understand how to set trigger sensitivity ? It seems to be automatic ?
I've set Vauto mode. Not S ?
RE: I'm back, tired, and hopeless. But is Bilevel the answer ??
Look in the clinician menu. Its default is "Medium". The "Trigger" controls the sensitivity of going from IPAP to EPAP and back.

RE: I'm back, tired, and hopeless. But is Bilevel the answer ??
Trigger sensitivity affects the volume of spontaneous flow needed to switch from EPAP to IPAP. Cycle sensitivity affects IPAP to EPAP. If you have a Resmed bilevel it's in the menu.
RE: I'm back, tired, and hopeless. But is Bilevel the answer ??
Here's a screenshot of my machine with settings.
I have no idea where to find trigger sensitivity ??

Apart from that my night was not very good... I had difficulties with pressure (and smell ?? I think the machine was used in hospital)
You can find Oscar screenshot on the link.
Have a nice day.

There may be a difference in your Vauto due to being acquired in Europe, but on mine the menu shows EPAP min, EPAP max, PS, Ti min, Ti Max, Trigger Cycle. Your events are all central except for early OA, so increase EPAP min to 7.0 and cut PS to 3.

Ok I hope my device isn't faulty. I will test your settings asap. Merci !

Good afternoon / morning.
Last night I used for the second time my new Resmed 10 Vauto (without trigger settings -> it is normal for that model, I asked Resmed support).
Here are some Oscar screenshot :

Any advice to improve my therapy and moreover get rid of these CA (which seems to be false -> junk sleep ?).
Thanks
