Inputting Data from Different CPAP Machines
Good afternoon folks, and thanks for allowing me membership on this forum.
I have been using a ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP machine for years now, but I had to conduct a new 3 day sleep study for the VA and they wouldn't let me use my current machine. They instead sent me a Dreamstation. Grrrrr
I've been inputting my data, from the AS10, into OSCAR but when I tried to input the data from the Dreamstation, nothing showed up in OSCAR so I know I probably did something wrong. My question is, can I input data from two different machines into OSCAR, and how do I do that?
Thanks for your help.
RE: Inputting Data from Different CPAP Machines
Two things come to mind. First, what version of OSCAR are you using? Second, are you importing the DreamStation into its own profile?

RE: Inputting Data from Different CPAP Machines
Oscar 1.5.3, and so far I'm still using a single profile.
RE: Inputting Data from Different CPAP Machines
I'm using OSCAR 1.5.3, and I only have a single profile. I don't know how to create multiple profiles if that's what I need to do to input the Dreamstation data.

While both report similar parameters, each brand reports them in a different format and scale. You can mix CPAP models of the same brand in a profile, but not different brands.

Ok, that helps. SleepHQ allows for different models and types, but the data is separated. Can something like that be done in OSCAR?

Not at this time.

Ok, cool, thank you!
RE: Inputting Data from Different CPAP Machines
I saw this just a minute ago, I have a somewhat similar question. But I am confuse about what Crimson Nape said because I had a dreamstation, using oscar and obtained an airsense 10 and oscar just put all the data right on there, listed my new machine and all and never missed a beat. I am mixed up. Nothing new there.
So now I just got a used aircurve 10 vauto. It has the sd card in it that the other person was using. Can ditch what is on that card and begin using it when I start using that machine. And is that what you call formatting? What is a safe simple way of doing that?

It may display a Daily screen correctly, but your Overview and Statistics will be messed up. It's your data, do what you want.
