Getting Started with a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset
RE: Getting Started with a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset
swilliams92,
I just spent some time going back through your thread.  We have tried a variety of pressure settings, both in Auto and Cpap mode..... along with and without the use of EPR at various levels.

The difference in results have been minimal.  Go back and read Sleepriders's post here:

https://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread...#pid472711

I feel at this point you should stop changing pressures as it's not helping.  I agree that the best we have seen is Auto mode 8-12  EPR 2.

With that said, we don't really know why you are so tired and not feeling well.
FL will disrupt sleep and may be a part of your problem.

Possibly there are other issues other than SA.

I wish I could be of more help to you.  The only other thing is if you are ever in the market for a AirSense AirCurve 10 VAuto, (which has a few more bells and whistles to tame CA's and FL) we may be able to help you more.

And if you choose another mask, I would try the Brevida Nasal Pillow Mask

I thought it was comfortable and it was good, but I did find the p10 superior.   But maybe for you a Brevida would work better.  Who knows?

Did you mean an Aircurve 10 V Auto? Rather than an Airsense?

swilliams92,

I want to add that taming the leaks are important.  Your leak rate is up and down with the nasal mask.  It hasn't been high enough to affect the machine's ability to do its job,
but is steady most of the night.  This is enough to affect your sleep, possibly causing arousals that you're not aware of, thus contributing to your not feeling so great.

Why not revisit the full face mask?
