RE: Is it Working?
OK, now understand what I'm relating is moving from BiPAP to an ASV for myself versus what you likely need to do is move on from CPAP to a BiPAP/BiLevel. How did I start that process? I stated my sleep with the machine was NOT helping me get the rest I needed. I was waking up as tired or more tired than when I went to sleep. In my opinion, you could convey the same message, then ask what the doctor thinks about moving to the BiPAP. Alternatively, after having done research and learning here, you could mention that you're becoming more active in understanding your Apnea treatment and that you realize a BiPAP may treat you better, especially since you 1) aren't getting better rest and 2) the CPAP overall pressure stops at your maximum of 20. You have no way to get extra pressure if needed.
Hope the info helps,
