i don't know where you are located, but craigslist is a good source for used cpap machines. i have bought a few through that. a couple of them had 0 hours on them.

my latest is an aircurve 10 vauto, that i won't even say how little i paid for it. i was just lucky enough to check one night and go get it at 8am the following day, before someone else snatched it up.

there are deals to find. as mentioned, try to keep the hours low, and make sure it didn't get abused or come from a smoker's house.

good luck. i recommend the aircurve 10, for what it's worth. i have also had airsense 10s as well.
