Is it sufficient just to rely on doctors to maintain settings?
I'm just curious if it's reasonable just to rely on doctors to set the settings.
I've had mine for around a year probably and have never used any software - I also have high functioning autism, so it's not the easiest for me to learn to do new things. But, hoo-man - I just kind of scanned the topics to 10 pages in and there's hardly any threads covering broad topics; Everything seems very specific and complex. Kind of a lot to take in since I just went the dumb-dumb route of letting my doctors do everything.
So, I guess: Am I missing something? Do most people not have doctors to set the settings? Should I be using the software? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?
My doctors made it sound like I didn't even really have an option to set my own settings, so I'm just kind of confused. If anyone cares to clear things up for someone who hasn't used the software, I'd appreciate it. I had no idea things got this complicated for these things...

Many of us have learned to self-titrate with the help of others on here (and youtube videos), it's the most efficacious form of treatment and most comfortable
You'll need to install an SD card in the machine and DL Oscar to read the clinical data on your machine:

Most doctors do not help people to dial in the best treatment options. Once you download and post an Oscar report folks here will give you good advice on what settings will provide you with the best treatment and the most comfort. This site is great that way!
