The AirSense11 has now been on the market for enough time to make a critical assessment.  Are there any improvements over the AirSense10 that would make its purchase instead of the AirSense10 a good idea.------- even if both machines were priced the same?  What do you think AirSense11 owners?

Airsense 11 has a smaller, lighter footprint, but it comes at the cost of a smaller motor and some inconvenient angles on the outlet tube which points to the side rather than up. The Airsense 10 has been upgraded and even has a different model designation from the originals released in 2014-2015. I really don't see an advantage to the 11.

My only reason for getting the 11 over the 10 was the 10 for her wasn't available.   I wanted that algorithm.

Please remind me: what is the true nature of the difference in the regular vs the "for her" algorithm.

Does it work on CPAP mode too or just APAP mode or both. In other words: does it differ in the way it alters the overall pressure (based on your apnea's, flow rate etc.) or does it differ in the way it changes pressure during the individual breath cycle --or both perhaps?

Cpapian: what was your experience that made you like the "for her" algorithm?

I have only used the for her algorithm and I am happy with my treatment.   I wasn't willing to give it up.  Who knows if I would have been happy with my treatment without it.
