RE: Just tried to start OSCAR for second day and none of my info is showing
OK all.

My frustrated self just went ahead and bit the bullet and inserted the SD CARD anyway.

Not only has everything new uploaded into the program, all the days that were supposed to be available before that were not are now magically there!

I pray that things are going to be stable from now on. if not, I know you know I'll be asking for help again.

BEST BEST REGARDS AND THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

Put it in the trash and start over. You will lose nothing because it’s all on the sd card anyway...you could be doing this for days and still not be able to use it...it’ll take all of 5 or 10 mins to download, install and fill out the profile and be up and running again

Osiris357...You have been wonderful.  I did put the one I had in the trash, this was the new installation that was being irksome.  At the moment I not only have yesterday's info, but I have all the data from the day that was missing from the other installation.

I am composing my post for my other thread now.  All this so that I can get expert opinion on the experiment for the cervical collar, jeeze.

Best to you and everyone for the patience you have all had with me.

I am SOOOO confused. Dont-know Thinking-about

I just closed the permissions box after having made sure the items were checked that I was told to check.

I went to click on the application icon for OSCAR in the application folder.

IT WAS NOT THERE.  IT WAS THERE BEFORE! (JUST AFTER INSTALLING IT) I couldn't understand where the heck it went so I used my spotlight to find it.

It lists 2 OSCAR Folders, OSCAR and OSCAR DATA, and a listing for the dmg file.  The OSCAR folder is the desktop folder I created to hold my screen shots and stuff.

I clicked on the dmg file and a white window with one thing opened again.  It has the OSCAR logo in it.  I clicked on the logo and the WELCOME Screen appeared...with a box stating the last time I used my RESMED was 4 days ago, yadda, yadda, yadda.  There is a profile for me listed stating the last day of import was the 12th.

WTH

I haven't even put my SD card in the computer yet.  I was told if I delete the existing application by putting it in the trash I would be uninstalling it.

What now?  Sad

I really appreciate everyones help...please keep on helping me with this?

This is just a guess but it may help.  I just tested it on my Mac (MacBook Air, Catalina 10.15.2).....
When you download OSCAR from this forum you get the dmg file.  Double click the dmg file and a Finder window opens with the OSCAR.app listed.  You need to manually move the OSCAR.app to your Applications folder.  Left click-hold OSCAR.app and drag to the Applications folder.
It's possible that somehow you may have been using the OSCAR.app from inside the dmg file instead.

I really appreciate your help jeff8356!

I eventually had success, although in a way that slightly differs from what had been suggested. And if I have to explain how I finally (for now at least), was able to completely run the app, I wouldn’t be able to do so.

If it fails tomorrow I will just pass out in exhaustion. ?

Too funny.

Just this morning I ended up dragging the OSCAR logo to my desktop.  For some reason it just no longer wants to appear in my applications folder.  I'm not even going to get into how wacky it is to start this program, different each and every time!  All I know is that at the moment I can utilize the software. And the information is fabulous.  I dislike the MyAir application so much that I am thinking about deleting it from all my systems.  I know this sounds stupid, but the fact that I get these scores ranging from 56 to 92 with EVERY result saying "Good Start" or "Great Score" and having horrid sleep, bothers the HECK out of me, lol.

Hysterical laughter.

I haven’t removed card or even touched it for that matter from the computer. I haven’t closed OSCAR off my computer screen.

I just tried to click on some prior days and the daily charts that were there this morning are now CURRENTLY gone. Poof!

It is what it is.

I’m starting to wonder if you have malware or a virus on your Mac. It’s rare but it will happen if you click on the wrong thing

Plmnb, can you confirm if your data is actually being stored on your computer?

Open Finder, click Documents, scroll down to OSCAR_Data left click. Navigate to Profiles, <your username>, Resmed_###, Backup, DATALOG, 2019

That should show you all the data that has been imported into OSCAR. If the data is there then we may need to get one of the developers to step in.
If the data is missing then it may be a particular setting/app on your Mac that may be causing issues.
