Knightsbridge Dual Band Chin Strap

Has anyone tried this chin strap with an N30i or P30i mask by cutting a hole in the top to allow access for the hose?  I tried my N30i on top of the cap and it really didn't work for me.  When I used the cap with the N20 I found it worked better by putting the mask on first.

The N30i or P30i won't work properly with the KB cap, at least in my case, and you can see it on my avatar.  I only use those masks for naps, without the cap, nothing long like a night's sleep.

What I use for night time is a P10, or an F&P Brevida, then the cap over the straps.

I cut a hole at the top of the KB cap and it seems to work. I do risk the hole tearing but so far so good.   I did message the owner of Knightsbridge and he said they might work on a cap with a designed hole at the top to accommodate masks that connect at the top.  I am trying their new mask with open ear areas so I do hope it will feel cooler at night.
