Looking for travel mini CPAP

RE: Looking for travel mini CPAP
Thanks for the heads up.  I will definitely check out craigslist here in the chicago area.  I sure would like to use a smaller hose, even at home.

Thanks, Jim.  I've been checking out that supplier and making a list of what comes with a package and what does not.  I also have to get my Rx. I wasn't given a copy.

So, for use on an airplane overseas, I have to get the battery too, right?

Your device sounds great.

Not necessarily. Many of the modern aircraft have standard outlets.
However, it's not necessarily a good idea to bet upon them being there and functional.
In that case, the battery is a nice addition. Not a terrible backup for storms either.
I'm an expert on that particular aspect - Florida lifestyle.

I've noticed a lot of carriers cycle the power to the receptacles during the flight. One crew member told me they don't power all receptacles at one time, and roll them to conserve electricity. I don't know if that's done across the board, but a battery is a good idea to give you uninterrupted aircraft sleep.

When I mentioned to AirCanada that I would be bringing my CPAP along, they specifically said "no medical devices to be plugged into seat receptacles".

So they require you to use your own battery when aboard. Your airline may be different.

Hi, all.  I'm looking at CPAP reviews on YouTube.  Here's a good one on minis from an Aussie guy named Nick:

He talks in metric, but you'll get the drift.  Based on what he is saying, I have new interest in the Z1.

He also has a list checking off what each one features.
