Low AHI but sleepy

RE: Low AHI but sleepy
When you change the EPR value, you change the EPAP pressure.  If you increase the EPR value, then your EPAP pressure will be reduced from the set pressure by that amount.   Reduced EPAP pressure will result in increased OAs and Hypopneas.   You need to change the pressure each time you change the EPR to maintain the same therapy.

RE: Low AHI but sleepy
Yup, I kinda understood that but was focused on few changes and correlation.

I am dumbfounded by the change to the cpap machine.  After going to bed, I could lay there for a couple of minutes, fully awake and breathing naturally, and I would hear the cpap machine start pushing lots of air.  Totally unnecessary and uncalled for excessive therapy.   Now, with just the ramp turned off and epr of 2 the cpap machine has been tamed.   It delivers a totally different experience of calm, quiet, soft, effective therapy.

I'll make those matching pressure changes tonight.

Thanks, -Don
