Machine noise, purchasing extra cpap

Machine noise, purchasing extra cpap
I've been having issues with my cpap making noise on inhalation.......coming from the filter area I sound like Darth Vader.  I already exchanged my cpap a few months ago with the same issue.   I understand my pressures are higher than most 11-16.5 so I'm sure that contributes to the noise.  My numbers are all over the place and have been since day 1, but it seems once the blower becomes noisier, my numbers get worse.

I was thinking of purchasing an extra cpap for travel etc. and in case mine breaks.   Are sites like these legit to purchase on your own without insurance??
Commercial Link Removed.  Instead do a search for Supplier #26.

Daisylouu, the PRS1 560 Auto is a great machine but is discontinued. The price on DirectHomeMedical, Supplier #26 is fair, and includes the humidifier, but you can get the new Dreamstation DSX500T11 for a similar price that includes the humidifier and heated hose on Amazon. The machines are about equal in quality.

Any of the online sites in our supplier list are legitimate places to obtain equipment. They will require a copy of your prescription and will back up the sale with a warranty and some support. I think it is a great idea to have a backup unit.
