I'm a mouth breather and I find that it does a fine job for me. It's the most comfortable mask so far that I've tried. My other mask is an AirFit F20. I tend to swap back & forth at times. The F20 is more intimidating, as it does ride all the way up the nose. But, I do find it nice to be able to swap back & forth as I mentioned.

RE: Mask dilemma.
I'm currently using a ResMed AirFit F30 FFM. It doesn't ride on the nose at all. It fits under the nose and not actually in the nasal passages.

RE: Mask dilemma.
I have tried both the Dreamwear full face, and the Resmed F30I. The cushions are pretty much the same as their respective nasal cushion only masks. The Resmed is much more comfortable, and I found it much easier to breath through than the Dreamwear. The Dreamwear caused pain on my nose between my nostrils on the ouside of my nose. I use an Airfit F20 now, and have been having good success with it. I caused a small cut on the bridge of my nose over the weekend, and place a small bandage across it. The bandage hasn't interfered with the mask, and keeps the mask from hurting the cut.

I just got a airfit p30i I am going to try and I ordered the medium n30i cushion for it in case. They interchange. Plus the arms that they sell for the dreamwear work on the p30i frame also. So I got a lot of possibility’s. I made an awesome custom hybrid out of two masks but I can’t wear it till I solve the issue with my nose. I’ll eventually get it worked out. Have a great day. Doug. |
