RE: Just diagnosed today
I turned the ramp feature off about a week after I started using the PAP machine. However, when starting at night my Phillips machine turns on a light--I take a breath before the pressure starts and exhale forceably when it does start--in about 2 breaths it is easy to breath. When I don't exhale on starting the first rush of air tickles my throat and I cough. Best wishes on a successful adaptation to the foreign body strapped to your face! It took me many weeks at the beginning to get a near 1 AHI for the night!
