I don't know how to do it.

RE: Modification to the Dreamwear Nasal Mask
Here's a way that should make it easy.
1. Buy this chinstrap.  Search Amazon for Premium White Chin Strap, AG Industries.Commercial Link Removed.

2. Take the 2 stabilization straps that come with it, and loop-attach, with their own velcro, one to each side tube of the dreamwear mask, below the attachment points of the regular headgear.

3. Put the mask on as usual, slide the extra straps to a position where they're pulling the nosepiece directly back at your upper lip, and fasten them with their own velcro at the back of the head.  Put on the chinstrap if desired.

4. Sleep well.

greenhousedc,
I shouldn't have said "No"  (I do a bit too much 'overthinking' of this stuff sometimes.)
Your picture isn't wrong, and may be fine for many people to accomplish stabilizing the mask.  The only difference between what you've drawn and my setup is the width of the straps, and the fact that instead of routing them underneath the earlobes I put mine right across the ears.  (It's not uncomfortable).
In short, you DO have the right understanding of what I'm getting at.  The angle of the auxiliary straps, and what they're made of, etc. will vary with our head geometry and preferences.  Let us know what, and how, it works for you.

RE: Modification to the Dreamwear Nasal Mask
@cronkster, You may have revolutionized my life! I've been frustrated and fighting with all the headgear I've had so far and I would never have thought to "hack" the original setup on my own. While the DreamWear has come closest to making me happy, the back strap kept slipping up my head throughout the night. So, I'd tighten it and tighten it again... and get migraine after migraine, not to mention all the waking throughout the night to readjust. Tonight, I added an old strap from another mask just like I showed in the picture (under the ears and down to the nape of my neck in back). Oh my god! It's revolutionary! The mask now can be "lose" but still incredibly stable. I'll have to see how I sleep tonight, of course. What feels great while standing in front of the mirror is entirely different once your head hits the pillow, but I'm very optimistic right now! I should also mention that I was fitted for entirely the wrong size head frame – medium when it should have been small. It’s no wonder I gave up on CPAP originally eight years ago, the DME and Dr were no help to me at all, but this board has changed my outlook completely. Can’t wait to go to bed tonight! My husband can't understand how excited I am to try this out. I'll have to come back here to report out on my experience.

 Thanks

Amazing Amazing Amazing Amazing Amazing

For the first time I only woke twice through the night and never had to adjust my mask. One more time, NEVER HAD TO ADJUST MY MASK! Not all-night long. It was amazing!!! My AHI was 0.9 this morning too! I average 2, so this is good for me. Woke with a dull headache, but not a migraine, which is also a win for me (sad, but true). I found the best way to put it on was to put my hair in a ponytail, just behind the very top of my head (where the hose will ultimately connect to the headgear). With the extra strap already attached and properly adjusted to the headgear (just as in the photo I posted), I disconnect just one side of the nasal pillow from the headgear. Then I am able to place both straps behind my head, under my ponytail, and wrap the frame around the front of my face and quick connect. It’s that easy! I take out my ponytail to sleep.

Looks like you could just use the Dreamwear face mask headgear with the nasal cushion set up and affix the lower straps (that normally go to the magnetic mask clips) around the mask frame just as shown in the illustration in post #8.
