hose sliding off mask

RE: hose sliding off mask
Thanks to all for your thoughts on this small problem! I now have some ideas to address it. Thus far, I've tried Ren's idea of carefully washing the inside of the Climateline hose end that attaches to the mask elbow with warm water and detergent, then carefully drying it. I was careful to avoid getting any water around or past the orange sensor. The washing did make a difference; the hose again grabs the elbow pretty firmly.

if sleep om my left side facing machine, the weight of the hose as dangle down can pull the hose off
but it does not come off when sleep on my right side facing the other way

also make sure the swivel grey piece which attach to the elbow is not missing or stuck in the other hose

I wash the climateline and other hoses in hot soapy water and hook to kitchen hot water tap to flush and rinse out and hang to dry a day or two
I do have spares but don,t like throw the old one if can be used

The very easy solution is to get  automotive hose clamps for both ends and gently clamp the hose on. Any auto supply place (Advance, O'Reilly, etc.) has these clamps quite inexpensively. My preference is for worm drive clamps since that affords an excellent control of applied pressure on the hose coupling.

Hi Duke. Your solution is great if you have clearance around the hose for the screw on the clamp. However, I didn't and brainstormed.

In my case, I need to first put a rubber seal on the machine's plastic air outlet so the hose can grab on and not slip off. I came up with putting on an unlubricated condom and cutting a hole across it. I'll let you know if it works.

If anyone knows why I shouldn't try this, e.g., damage to me or the machine, please let me know.
