My AirCurve died

My AirCurve died
It's less than two years old. Last week I got an error message suggesting it wasn't plugged in all the way. The next night, no power to the unit at all.

I called my supplier and they shipped me out a new power supply. It got here today. I immediately tore open the package and plugged it in to make sure it worked. It was fine.

A couple hours later, I checked it again...and this time the error message about it not being plugged in appeared. I unplugged it, checked all the connections, and plugged it back in. This time, the screen was totally dead.

I'm almost in tears. I'll call the supplier in the morning, but I can't imagine it won't take weeks for me to ship it back to them so they can fix it and then have it returned.

I looked into what it would cost to purchase a refurbished one. Waaaay out of my price range.

I don't know what I'm looking for by posting here. Sympathy, I guess. I miss not feeling like a walking zombie.

lilymaebelle,

This may sound like a silly question, but have you tried plugging it into a different wall outlet? Your wall outlets can go bad.

It's a good suggestion, but yes, I checked in a different outlet.

RE: My AirCurve died
The A10's power connector seems to be a weak point. It does not handle stress on the connection well. Take all stress off the power cord and then (gently) jiggle the connection, with the power connected. It may bring it back to life.
