Need help lowering my AHI

RE: Need help lowering my AHI
Again, it is your flow limits that are causing higher pressure.  Try EPR 2 and see if that helps.

RE: Need help lowering my AHI
OK, I have been trying ERP 2 for a few weeks. In general, it looks like my AHI has been higher at EPR 2 than it was at EPR 1. Not sure if the flow limits are any better, what do you think? Overall, my average AHI was lowest at EPR 1, higher with EPR 2 and highest with EPR 3. Here are some charts with EPR 2.

Thanks,
Guy

RE: Need help lowering my AHI
You have been at this too long for your central apneas to be treatment-emergent.  Did you have a lot of them on your sleep study?  If so, could you post a redacted copy of the study?  That would be helpful.

RE: Need help lowering my AHI
I've had 5 sleep studies over the years, two home and three in lab. Looking over all of them I do see mention of centrals in most of them, including one that said they emerged at higher pressures. I'll attach the redacted studies in the next few posts in the order from oldest to newest.

This post has the DeltaWaves Diagnostic from 9-24-2009 and the DeltaWaves Titration study from 11-22-2009.

Well the board is telling my I reached my attachment quota of 8MB. Is there a way to increase my quota? All of the attachments are from this post and I don't want to delete any of them. I want to attach my most recent studies.

RE: Need help lowering my AHI
OK, I deleted the Delta Waves sleep study pictures from the above post as the file sizes were too big. I shrunk all the files so hopefully they will all fit now. Anyway, I'm going to start adding the sleep studies again, but this time I am going to add the most recent first.

This post has the UC Health Sleep Lab study from 8-23-2023.

This post has the first 3 of 6 pages of the Sleepworks Titration study from 1-26-2016.

RE: Need help lowering my AHI
Wow!  The 2015 study indicated that you had 13.8 OAs, 0.5 CAs, and 7.4 Hs.  The 2016 study indicated you had 12.2 OAs, 8.9 CAs and 1.3 Hs.  That's a really big difference on the CAs.  Your second study was probably accurate, as you are showing lots of CAs now on your Oscar reports.  This could mean you need a different kind of machine to receive better treatment.
