I can't answer which mask. The one that works best and is most comfortable for you. A couple exercises to get better control over pressure with a nasal mask, are to practice talking with the mask. See if you can open your mouth and still control the pressure. Try sipping water or drinking through a straw and swallowing. These skills teach pressure control that can translate from the conscious to the sleep state as they become second nature.

Understood. Ultimately nasal is more confortable besides the fact that i wakeup from the air leaking on my mouth. Hence why i switched to the F40. Overall F40 is good, but again only for pressures below 9. I can try and practice that control, honeslty when I am awake is easy, but when I am asleep its a bit harder since I cant control it as easy...

It eventually becomes second nature and that subconscious control takes time and conditioning to master.

Hi sleeprider,
I have tried to adjust to asv with the nasal mask but it’s just too much. Last night I woke up about 5 times with a dry throat. Now I have a strong headache. My only option that isn’t really an option is to use the f40 with infinite leaks… not sure what to do now
