I have used ASV and several ventilators and have not experienced what you are describing. No difference in my daytime breathing. The best plan would be to relay this information to your Dr.'s (and providers). There could possibly be a member who reads this and can relate though.

An ASV should not breathe for you, as it's not capable of this. It might feel like it is, but this is very likely fixed by a setting edit.
You need to get OSCAR onto your computer, saving ASV sleep data on an SD card, load that data into OSCAR and getting screenshots to attach to a post. Why? We need to see what is happening during use to inform us of what to suggest.
